He brings over 35 years of experience at the highest levels of tax law and corporate restructuring, including 11 years as Senior Manager in the Tax Practice at Deloitte Legal Barcelona, and 15 years as General Manager of Amicorp España, where he led international corporate structuring with a particular focus on Ibero-American markets.

He holds an LL.B. from the University of Barcelona and two postgraduate qualifications from ESADE Business School.

At Brookfort, Maria Eugenia supports the firm’s growth across the Americas, providing drawing on deep regional knowledge built across three countries and three decades of practice.

She brings a career spanning Venezuela, the United Kingdom, and the United States, beginning in corporate and commercial practice at Rodríguez & Mendoza in Caracas, continuing through civil society work with Foro Penal de Venezuela in Miami, and sustained through ongoing legal practice in the Americas region.

She brings over 15 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, and communications across international markets in Latin America and Europe, including environments where precision and reputation are non-negotiable. That background gives her a genuine understanding of what it means to represent a firm where the standards are high and the audience is discerning.

She holds a Double Master’s in Marketing Management and CRM from EOI Madrid and a Master’s in Digital Marketing and Advertising from Nebrija University.

He holds a PhD in Law with a focus on transfer pricing, an LLM in Tax Law, and the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK). He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).

Part of Brookfort´s Panama Corporate Services Team, María Eugenia manages a diverse portfolio of individual, family, and corporate clients, serving as their primary point of contact while ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, KYC compliance, AML adherence, and regulatory filing across all client entities.

She brings over 15 years of legal experience built entirely in Latin America´s most demanding environments: from administrative and constitutional law at Tinoco, Travieso, Planchart & Núñez, to founding her own firm advising international clients on corporate restructuring and multi-jurisdictional operations, to serving as Legal Director of Deportivo Lara, where she managed FIFA, CONMEBOL, and FVF compliance alongside complex contract negotiations.

He brings over 18 years of experience in finance, treasury, accounting, and cross-border banking operations, including leadership roles at AccLogix, Accgem Business Services, and Amicorp Group, where he built deep expertise in multi-jurisdictional financial structures and global accounting operations.

He holds an MBA in Finance.
